Sasquatch Provincial Park full service camping is now closed for the season.
Winter camping is available at this park in Hicks, Bench and Lakeside camgrounds.

Silver Lake Provincial Park is now closed for the winter and will reopen in May 2009.

Nairn Falls Provincial Park is closed for the season and reopen in May 2009.
Full service camping at Birkenhead Lake Provinical Park has ended for the 2008 summer season.
The campground will still be accessible; however, gates are closed on October 15 with minimal road access in the park (roads are not plowed).
Reservations will start in May 2009 and can be made through Discover Camping.

The campfire ban for the Squamish Forest District has been lifted.
Due to the damage from the windstorms in 2006/2007, the Entrance Bay playground has been completely removed.
We apologise for any inconvenience.
A campfire ban is in effect for the Squamish Forest District which includes all the parks operated in the Sea to Sky Corridor effective immeditately until further notice.

The walk-in wilderness campsite has been closed to camping until further notice. Very large, dead Douglas fir trees have been identified as potential hazards to camping or remaining in the area for long periods. At the same time, these trees provide a unique, high value habitat to animals as they decay and break apart. Camping is still provided in the main campground
Please be advised that water system upgrades will be in progress this spring at Birkenhead Lake Provincial Park. Construction activity is not planned for weekends, however, sections of the park may be closed and access restrictions in place.
Alice Lake Provincial Park closes its full service facilities today but that does not mean the camping must end.
Alice Lake is open year round to campers and welcomes the winter actiivty and camping enthusists! Come visit Alice Lake today.

Porteau Cove Provincial Park is open year round to all park visitors and is perfect for those campers looking for a quiet escape from the city in the winter.
All drive-in sites at Porteau Cove have electrical hook ups available for an extra $5.00 a night. Winter rates take effect November 1, 2008 at $15.00 per party per night.
