Bridal Veil Falls Provincial Park is located 16km east of Chilliwack along the Trans Canada Highway (Hwy 1). The falls at Bridal Veil are about 60m in height and creates a "veil-like" effect as it tumbles down the rock face.
In the early 1900s, Bridal Veil Falls was used to generate electricity for the Bridal Veil Falls Chalet. Only traces of the old generator can be found today a the foot of the falls.
Bridal Veils Provincial Park is open from April 1 - October 11.
Bridal Veil Falls has a day-use area for picnicking and a viewing platform of the falls not far from the parking lot.
A campfire ban is scheduled in the Coastal Fire Centre from Friday, July 23rd, 2010 from noon until further notice.
This applies to all parks operated by Sea to Sky Park Services. For more information on fire bans, visit www.bcwildfire.ca.
