Plumper Cove Provincial Park is a marine park located on the northwest side of Keats Island in scenic Howe Sound.
The park is accessible by foot passenger ferry from the Langdale Ferry Terminal and by water taxi from Gibsons on the Sunshine Coast.
The climate of Howe Sound is temperate with typically sunny and dry weather during the summer months. This plus moderate sea breezes help to create an idealistic boaters paradise that is readily accessible.
The park contains forested walk-in campsites, day use picnic sites, water, a trail system, and swimming. Firewood is also available for purchase from the Park Attendant.
Plumper Cove Marine Park is opened year round with limited facilities in the winter. All sites are first come, first serve and marine accessible only.
Marine facilities include a wharf and mooring buoys.
A campfire ban is scheduled in the Coastal Fire Centre from Friday, July 23rd, 2010 from noon until further notice.
This applies to all parks operated by Sea to Sky Park Services. For more information on fire bans, visit www.bcwildfire.ca.
